- Lead the design, development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, systems, tooling, and equipment.
- Identify and execute strategic initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, lead time, and overall operational performance.
- Serve as the technical lead for manufacturing process development on new product launches, major engineering changes, and capacity expansion projects.
- Develop manufacturing strategies that support business growth while maintaining high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead cross-functional teams in structured problem-solving activities using root cause analysis, A3 thinking, DMAIC, and other proven methodologies.
- Evaluate, justify, and implement capital equipment and process improvement through ROI analysis and disciplined project management.
- Establish and maintain manufacturing standards, work instructions, process documentation, PFMEAs, control plans, and assembly element details.
- Provide technical mentorship and coaching to Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Technicians, Supervisors, and Production personnel.
- Lead value stream improvement activities and support strategy deployment initiatives aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and cost optimization of new and existing products.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, develop corrective actions, and improve equipment and labor effectiveness.
- Effectively facilitate Suggested Engineering Changes and Engineering Change Notices, ensuring timely implementation and minimal operational disruption.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Quality teams to resolve supplier, process, and product quality concerns.
- Research and evaluate emerging manufacturing technologies, automation solutions, and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
- Support daily production operations by providing hands-on technical leadership and rapid resolution of manufacturing issues.
