Forklift Operator

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a safety-focused Forklift Operator to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will operate forklifts to move raw materials, paperboard, and finished corrugated and carton products throughout the plant, loading and unloading trailers and supplying production lines. You will complete pre-shift equipment inspections, follow strict safety and traffic guidelines, and help maintain accurate inventory and staging areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials and finished goods safely
• Inspect forklifts before use and report maintenance or safety issues
• Support production lines with timely delivery and removal of materials
• Follow all plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and traffic rules
• Maintain accurate counts and proper placement of inventory and pallets
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and staging outbound/inbound loads
• Keep work areas, aisles, and docks clean and free of hazards
• Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and shipping teams
• Follow work orders, labels, and documentation to ensure accuracy
• Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
