Position Title:

Blender Operator

Wage: $20.00 - $23.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Blender Operator Responsibilities

Blend and package products
Load and unload freeze dryers
Weigh ingredients, bulks and excipients
Clean rooms and equipment so they are suitable for production
Assemble / disassemble mill
Operate metal detector
Perform master sanitation tasks associated with the department
Fill out room logs
Make corrections on documentation, adhering to GDP
Follow operating discipline policies, principles, procedures, standards, and practices to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned areas
Monitor and use HMI for basic processes

Requirements for Blender Operator

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge and experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to stand greater than 2/3 of the time
Ability to walk less than 1/2 of the time
Ability to sit 1/3 of the time
Ability to use hands greater than 2/3 of the time
Ability to reach with hands and arms less than 1/3 of the time
Ability to climb or balance less than 1/3 of the time
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl less than 1/3 of the time
Ability to talk and hear greater than 2/3 of the time
Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds less than 1/3 of the time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds less than 1/3 of the time
Ability to use close vision (20 inches or less) greater than 2/3 of the time for computer work and other tasks
