Hobart, WI | 2nd Shift | Tuesday–Thursday Work 36 Hours. Get Paid for 40 Hours.

Looking for a machining schedule that gives you four days off every week? Join our 2nd shift machining team and work three 12-hour shifts Tuesday through Thursday. You’ll work 36 hours per week but get paid for 40 hours, plus receive a $3.00/hour 2nd shift premium. 2nd Shift Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday3:30 PM – 3:30 AM36 hours worked – paid for 40 hours $3.00/hour shift premium

Overtime paid for hours worked beyond your regular 36-hour schedule

Four days off every week What You'll Be Doing We’re looking for experienced CNC Mill and/or Lathe Machinists who can set up and run their own jobs. This is a high-mix, low-volume job shop, so you won't spend every day running the same part. Most jobs involve small quantities and a variety of parts, setups, materials, and machining challenges.

You'll be responsible for:

Setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes

Selecting tooling and setting offsets

Proving out programs and making edits at the machine

Reading blueprints and GD&TInspecting your own parts and holding tight tolerances

Troubleshooting machining and tooling issues

Making adjustments to improve quality and cycle times

Working independently and taking ownership of your jobs Machines You'll Work With Our equipment includes:

Haas Kitamura Doosan Trak What  We're Looking For You may be a good fit if you have:3+ years of CNC machining experience

Strong CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience

The ability to set up and run jobs independently

Experience making program edits at the machine

Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills

Experience using inspection tools to verify your work

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience working in a job shop or high-mix environment is a plus Why Join EMT International?

36 hours worked, 40 hours paid. Complete your regular three-day schedule and receive pay for a full 40-hour workweek.

Overtime after your regular 36-hour schedule. Overtime is paid for hours worked beyond your regular 36-hour schedule.

Extra pay for 2nd shift. Receive an additional $3.00/hour shift premium.

Interesting machining work. We're a high-mix, low-volume shop, so you'll work on a variety of parts instead of running the same production job every day.

Skilled machinists are trusted to do their jobs. If you know how to set up, troubleshoot, and make good parts, you'll have the opportunity to work independently and take ownership of your work.
