What

you'll be doing
  • Set up, program, adjust, and operate CNC lathes to perform close-tolerance turning and cutting operations
  • Operate computer-controlled machines and equipment to manufacture metal components
  • Read and follow blueprints, department routings, and shop travelers
  • Perform frequent quality checks and accurate measurements to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Check inserts and tooling, and replace inserts, blades, or cutters as needed
  • Communicate any deviations or quality concerns to supervisors
  • Participate in cross-training
Machines, controls and software

Works on CNC lathes performing close-tolerance turning and cutting;
Mazak experience is a plus.

What we're looking for Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
Preferred
  • CNC lathe setup and programming knowledge
  • CNC machining experience or training
  • Mazak experience
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment
  • Strong general problem-solving ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
  • Vocational/technical education or a Machine Tool diploma
Pay, benefits and schedule

Pay: $25.00–$35.00/hour, based on experience, plus a 2nd & 3rd shift premium.

Schedule: Full-time, 45–50 hours per week, 2nd or 3rd shift, with overtime available.
