Role Purpose

We are seeking a mid-level marketing advisor to support the execution of our business development, client strategy and external communications priorities. This role sits at the core of the MBD function. It focuses on structured execution, cross-functional coordination and delivery excellence across client development, pitches, events and visibility initiatives. Beyond execution, we are looking for someone who is engaged, curious and willing to invest, while continuing to grow into the role.

This is a position where ownership and mindset make the difference. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Business Development, and operates in close interaction with partners, fee earners and international teams.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Business development and client strategy
• Support execution of client plans and BD initiatives
• Manage mid-level pitches end-to-end, coordinate smaller opportunities with legal administrative teams
• Maintain high-quality CVs and credentials materials
• Track pipeline, opportunities and follow-ups
• Enhance templates, content and tools
• External visibility and communications
• Produce and distribute external communications
• Manage Linked In and key channels in line with firm positioning
• Coordinate submissions for legal directories (e.g. Chambers, Legal 500)
• Coordinate delivery with internal service providers
• Ensure alignment with global campaigns and priorities
• Events, memberships and reporting
• Deliver client-focused events and support smaller formats
• Manage key memberships and networking opportunities
• Coordinate with lawyers, partners and external stakeholders
• Track KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement

Skills and Experience

• Around 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, business development or communications, ideally in a professional services environment
• Be fluent in written and spoken English, French and Dutch would be a plus.
• Able to take responsibility for deliverables, with guidance and clear priorities
• Quick learner, comfortable building knowledge in a fast-moving and demanding environment
• Strong ability to manage multiple work streams with structure and attention to detail
• Demonstrates commercial awareness, in both approach and delivery
• Comfortable interacting with international teams and different stakeholders
