Marketing Manager
Ascendent Health Partners
At Ascendent Health Partners, we believe healthcare is about human connection, not transactions.
We support dental practices that are committed to exceptional clinical care, trusted relationships, and creating experiences where patients feel seen, heard, and valued. Our mission is to empower healers and educators to provide patients with world‑class care and achieve optimal health.
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can take meaningful ownership of how Ascendent and our partner practices grow, communicate, and connect with patients and communities.
This is not a role for someone who wants to wait for a detailed checklist. We’re looking for someone who can take a goal, build a plan, move the work forward, measure the outcome, and improve the approach. We think learning fast, staying curious, and always improving are preferable to the 7th version of a plan.
You’ll be responsible for managing marketing initiatives across Ascendent and our supported practices, with a focus on strong execution, clear communication, thoughtful brand stewardship, and measurable business impact.
What You’ll Own- Develop and execute marketing plans for Ascendent and our partner dental practices
- Manage campaigns across digital, social, email, website, local marketing, and other relevant channels
- Build and maintain marketing calendars, project plans, and campaign timelines
- Create and oversee content that reflects the voice, values, and personality of each practice
- Coordinate photography, video, design, written content, and other creative work
- Manage outside vendors, agencies, and freelancers when appropriate
- Monitor campaign performance and turn data into clear recommendations and next steps
- Advocate for your great ideas to improve patient acquisition, retention, referrals, and community awareness
- Partner with doctors and practice leaders to understand local growth opportunities and translate them into practical marketing strategies
- Maintain brand consistency while respecting the individual identity of each supported practice
- Improve systems, processes, and reporting so the marketing function becomes more effective as Ascendent grows
- Take responsibility for projects from idea through execution, measurement, and follow-up
We’re looking for someone who can make the marketing function better, not simply keep it moving.
Success in this role means:
- Projects are organized, communicated clearly, and completed on time
- Marketing priorities are tied to real business and patient goals
- Campaigns are measured, evaluated, and improved rather than simply launched
- Doctors and practice leaders see marketing as a reliable, thoughtful partner
- Our brands feel authentic, consistent, and differentiated
- Good ideas turn into action
- Problems are identified early and brought forward with possible solutions
- Growth does not come at the expense of trust, quality, or the patient experience
A strong candidate will likely have:
- 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally with increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience independently managing campaigns or marketing programs
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience with digital marketing, social media, email marketing, websites, or paid media
- Comfort reviewing marketing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations based on results
- Strong judgment and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively with executives, doctors, practice leaders, vendors, and team members
- A track record of taking ownership and following through without needing constant direction
- The confidence to make recommendations, explain your reasoning, and…
