Nurse Technician
Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living
Status:
Non-Exempt
PM Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Hours: 0 to 39 per 2-Week Pay Period
Every Other Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required
Starting Wage: $22.20/hour
Lakeview Health Center is seeking compassionate and motivated Nurse Technicians to join our Long-Term Care team. This role is ideal for nursing students who want meaningful hands-on experience while contributing to exceptional resident care.
About the Role
As a Nurse Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centered care. You'll support daily clinical tasks, assist with medications and treatments, and help ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of our residents.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision
- Assist with individualized care plans
- Communicate resident needs and observations to the RN
- Follow safety, infection control, and resident rights standards
- Support a respectful, collaborative, and service-focused environment
- Current nursing student (RN or LPN track) with completed pharmacology/medication administration course
- OR graduate nurse awaiting licensure retake
- Active CNA on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
- Ability to maintain passing grades in nursing courses
- Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and excellent service
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
- Supportive RN supervision and mentorship
- Real-world clinical experience in long-term care
