PRN Family Nurse Practitioner

The Provider must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals as targeted for tele and in-patient.
- Lead clinic staff, demonstrating behaviors, actions and attitude (X‑Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care.
- Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Perform responsibilities included in the SCRIBE job description.
- Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance.
- Actively engage with clinical leadership, escalating to management where appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns, ensuring adherence to company values.
- Meet patient volume goals for tele and in‑patient as determined.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts appropriately on a daily basis.
- Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patients’ history, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliability.
- Conduct activities in a manner consistent with departmental expectations and comply with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA.
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
- Maintain and pursue a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training.
- Adhere to standard NP protocols and complete all mandatory compliance training to meet quality standards.

- Recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care.
- Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
- Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, and provide clinic tours and an overview of clinic processes.
- Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
- Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities to support new staff training.
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
- Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified on the physical demands.
- Promote and maintain respectful culture of confidentiality for employees, employers, and business.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Proven experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- For PRN Employees: work a minimum of 4 shifts per month. Full‑Time Employees: work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
