Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing, an LPN/LVN provides nursing care, coordinates care plans, and supervises nursing assistants. The LPN/LVN must adhere to standards of care, manage the environment for patient safety, and perform duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.

• Deliver direct nursing care to assigned residents/patients during a shift.
• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate resident/patient care plans.
• Supervise nursing assistants and ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Maintain resident/patient safety and environment.
• Follow all Center policies and procedures and perform duties per the State Nurse Practice Act.

• Licensed in the State as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency with supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
• Ability to calculate drug dosage.
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
• Positive, effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications.
