Certified Nursing Assistant:/Restorative CNA

Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus

Restorative CNA in the Nursing & Rehab Center (Skilled Nursing Facility)

Part-time to Full-time .5 to 1.0 FTE day shift position (negotiable hours), will work every other weekend and a holiday rotation

• Assist each resident in obtaining the highest practicable degree of function and independence through utilization of the Restorative Nursing Program
• Reinforce and supplement the therapeutic services being provided by rehab services such as PT, OT, or ST
• Provide services in lieu of rehab services once care is stable and is maintained
• Will assist as needed in patient care and observe patient for specified changes in conditions
• Will provide assistance in activities of daily living which include personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility/ambulation, maintenance of environment and patient safety
• Monitor ongoing resident status related to ability to follow the treatment regimen as designed and notify the nurse of resident inability or refusal to follow treatment regimen
• Will work under the direction of the nurse in charge

• Requires a Nursing Assistant certification and to be listed as active on both the State of Wisconsin and Federal Registries
• CPR completion preferred- will need to be obtained upon hire
• Prior nursing assistant experiences are preferred but not required
• Candidates will be asked to work outside of this restorative aide position when needed
• Outstanding verbal and written communications
• Prior electronic medical record knowledge is beneficial

Employment Bonus Eligible! Note that this position has a $3,000.00 Employment Bonus associated with it for candidates that are hired. A $1,000.00 bonus payment will be made at 3 months of employment, a $1,000 bonus payment after 6 months of employment and a final $1,000 bonus payment after 1 year of employment! This Employment Bonus will be paid for any eligible position of a .5 FTE status or greater.
