Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiation Oncology

Minocqua, WI

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Day Shift | No weekends, holidays, call, or floating required

• Provide direct nursing care to outpatient radiation oncology patients across a variety of diagnoses including prostate, breast, lung, head and neck, brain, skin, lymphoma, mesothelioma, and metastatic disease
• Perform peripheral IV insertion, Power Port access and de-access, and contrast infusion during CT procedures
• Triage and manage contrast reactions as needed
• Administer set-rate IV hydration infusions
• Assess patients for radiation therapy side effects and provide thorough patient education
• Collaborate with medical assistants and on-site physician to deliver coordinated ambulatory care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with peripheral IV insertion and Power Port access/de-access
• Experience with contrast infusion during CT and knowledge of contrast reaction triage
• Familiarity with Cerner and/or Aria EMR systems

• Radiation Oncology Nurse Certified (ONN-CG or equivalent) certification
• Prior experience in an ambulatory or outpatient oncology setting
• Experience with radiation side effect assessment and patient education

• Enjoy a consistent, predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no weekend, holiday, call, or float requirements
• Work in a collaborative outpatient environment alongside dedicated oncology professionals
