This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in overnight operations and enjoys being the go-to resource for clinical teams. As the RN House Supervisor on the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), you'll serve as the onsite administrative and clinical leader—supporting staff, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring safe, high-quality care across the hospital during critical overnight hours.

The House Supervisor is essential to smooth hospital operations overnight. You'll ensure patients receive excellent care while supporting clinical teams, managing staffing, and responding to emergent situations—making a real impact on patient safety, staff confidence, and organizational success.
What You'll Do- Provide clinical and administrative leadership across all departments during assigned night shifts
- Coordinate patient flow, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Serve as a liaison between clinical teams, support services, and hospital leadership
- Lead and coordinate emergency response efforts as needed
- Assess staffing needs and assign responsibilities based on skill level and scope of practice
- Provide direct patient care when necessary, including medication administration and assistance with ADLs
- Coach, mentor, and support staff while promoting teamwork and professionalism
- Participate in safety initiatives, policy review, and performance improvement efforts
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain calm, sound judgment in high-pressure or rapidly changing situations
- A current, up-to-date resume
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Active, unrestricted Wisconsin RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency or acute care nursing experience
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- ACLS and TNCC (required within 6 months of hire)
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
