Montello Care Center is looking for a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing for our location at 251 Forest Lane, Montello Wisconsin!
JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for overall supervision and coordination of the clinical unit, growth of facility and community resources, provides comprehensive standards, practices and programs that meet the needs and best interests of the facility, staff and residents.

- Licensure as a Registered Nurse/LPN in Wisconsin (which must be in good standing)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Must have background and ability to fully carry out the requirements of the IP based on the needs of the resident population, such as interpreting clinical and laboratory data.
- Previous experience in long term care
- Possess skills in leadership and communication
- American Red Cross certified
Requires reading, writing, mathematics, drawing conclusions from written or computer-generated materials, making decisions from limited information, reporting information, public contact, routine handling multiple priorities, making non-routine or unexpected judgments, reasoning, applying procedures, implementing recommendations by coordinating persons and/or other resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB, DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONSManages training, development and performance of assigned staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce for Montello Care Center.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
