Infection Control / Employee Education
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join our team as an Infection Control / Employee Education specialist. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing infection prevention protocols while providing comprehensive education and training to employees to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Full Time Monday - Friday 40 Hours per week Hourly Wage based on experience Registered Nurse with active Wisconsin License Preferred
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor infection control policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential infection hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver employee education programs related to infection prevention and control.
- Provide training sessions, workshops, and materials to ensure all staff understand infection control protocols and their role in maintaining a safe environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and management to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current infection control guidelines, regulations, and emerging trends.
- Track and report infection control metrics and employee training compliance.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for infection control questions and concerns among employees.
- Strong expertise in employee education and training methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of infection control principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop clear, concise, and effective educational materials.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Proficient in using learning management systems and other educational technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or equivalent is a plus.
- Previous experience in infection control and employee education is highly desirable.
