Licensed Practical Nurse

Burnett Medical Center Inc seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in our critical access hospital. The LPN will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing under RN and provider supervision, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, documentation, and patient education across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. This role supports a collaborative, patient-centered team focused on community health. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of RNs and providers
• Perform basic assessments and monitor vital signs and patient status
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and policies
• Accurately document care, interventions, and patient responses in the EHRAssist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
• Support providers during exams, procedures, and emergency situations
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and self-care
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support care plans
• Participate in quality improvement, training, and cross-coverage as needed
