Full-Time Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the ADON / Infections Control Nurse is responsible for overall supervision and coordination of the clinical unit, growth of facility and community resources, provides comprehensive standards, practices and programs that meet the needs and best interests of the facility, staff and residents.

Compensation- $41- 47 per hour, dependent on experience and education

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of the nursing department
- Promote and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence
- Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and other departments
- Drive quality improvement and resident-centered care initiatives

Qualifications- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing
- Minimum One year nursing experience providing direct care in long-term care setting
- Competent in leadership and communication skills
- Ability to plan, develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively, professionally and positively with all residents, staff and other healthcare providers, families and the public
- CPR certified
- Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
