Description

The Urgent Care Provider delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, walk-in clinic setting. This role is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages. The provider works collaboratively with nursing staff, support personnel, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
  • Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Administer treatments including suturing, casting, and prescribing medications
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, effective care
  • Respond to life-threatening emergencies with confidence and skill
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
  • NCCPA Certification (if PA)
  • DEA and Controlled Substance Licensure
  • Current CPR and ACLS Certification (PALS encouraged)
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice preferred
