Description:
This position is responsible for gathering Health Service Requests from the units.
Triage requests and coordinate the daily schedule.
Start seeing urgent sick calls.
See multiple follow-ups from provider referrals and RN follow-up appointments.
Assist providers with chronic care condition guidelines.
Assist the MD/AMD as they have a dual role and require more assistance from the nursing staff.
Complete verbal orders, consult with offsite providers, and complete requests through the messaging system in Cerner.
Work as a nurse clinician for the general population and restricted housing.
Require long-term care skills for patients housed inpatient in sick cells or for illness or post-op recovery care.
