Agrecol is a Wisconsin nursery that grows and provides native plants to local and regional conservation agencies, non-profit organizations, nurseries, and landscapers. Our greenhouse is located outside of Edgerton, WI where we produce over 150 native plant species. Collectively as a company, we are a group of environmentally conscious individuals, and our staff is personally committed to a more sustainable future.

Job Description:

Greenhouse Crew Member is an entry-level, seasonal position and an excellent way to be introduced to the conservation industry through the uses of native plants and seeds. Our Greenhouse Crew Members are an integral part of daily greenhouse operations. Crew Members often develop focused skill sets which lead to quick career growth within this specialized industry. This seasonal position typically works from February to October.

Crew Members are responsible for the daily tasks that support all operations. These may include propagation, transplanting, plant health, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, biosecurity, and regulatory compliance. Work may occur with a team or individually.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move plants, supplies, and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be comfortable working with plants, soil, and natural elements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Operate hand tools and small powered tools.

• This role requires working in both indoor and outdoor nursery environments.
• Exposure to seasonal weather conditions, including dust, cold, heat, and humidity.
• Regular use of equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, trolleys, plant containers, and packaging materials.

Greenhouse, landscaping, production, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required. We are seeking friendly, motivated people who are committed to excellence.

Starting pay is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour (based on experience).
