Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12,000 acres of rugged, pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Here, residents and guests will find six world-class golf courses built in harmony with the land:
Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, Sandbox, The Lido, Sedge Valley, and Commons. Position Summary

At Sand Valley, our Security team plays an important role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members. From assisting with guest needs and ensuring public areas remain secure to stocking firewood and responding to emergencies, this role offers a meaningful blend of service and safety.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Patrol resort facilities, guest accommodations, and grounds to ensure a safe and peaceful environment
  • Maintain a visible presence in guest areas to promote safety and deter incidents
  • Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies
  • Conduct routine inspections and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues
  • Assist guests and team members with directions, transportation, or general support
  • Drive the resort shuttle after 10 PM for guest transportation
  • Keep firepits and wood boxes stocked, lit, and guest-ready
  • Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports; support HR with documentation as needed
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents
  • Organize and stack firewood in the designated woodshed
  • Manage difficult or sensitive situations effectively
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or corrections preferred
  • A calm, professional presence, especially in high-pressure situations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
