Credentialed Veterinary Technician Prairie Animal Hospital – North Prairie, WI

Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Sign-On Bonus: $500

Prairie Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our compassionate, collaborative team in North Prairie, Wisconsin. Since 1988, our well-established six-doctor small animal practice has proudly served the North Prairie community with high-quality, personalized veterinary care. We foster a positive team culture where collaboration, learning, and exceptional patient care come first.

What You'll Do
  • Assisting veterinarians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, and sample collection
  • Preparing surgical patients and monitoring anesthesia before, during, and after procedures
  • Performing and assisting with dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and dental procedures
  • Taking high-quality digital and dental radiographs
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed
  • Educating clients on pet health, medications, and post-treatment care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
  • Collaborating with a supportive veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Veterinary Technician (credential required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Strong technical and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to compassionate veterinary medicine
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development
Schedule
  • Full-time opportunity, open to Part-time
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Rotating Saturdays (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)
  • No Sundays
  • Closed most major holidays
Compensation & Benefits
  • $22.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • $500 sign-on bonus
    * paid 90 days after employment
