Overview
Sand Valley is a golf resort and community located on 12,000 acres of sand dunes in central Wisconsin. The resort features six golf courses, a year‑round outdoor program, a tennis center, and a variety of dining options. The team focuses on authentic hospitality and delivering immersive experiences in Wisconsin’s natural beauty.
Responsibilities- Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks across greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and surrounding grounds as assigned.
- Assist with course setup to prepare playing conditions for the day.
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment and tools safely.
- Support turf care tasks such as mowing, hand watering, repairing ball marks, filling divots, laying sod, and raking bunkers.
- Assist with drainage work, course projects, and general grounds maintenance as needed.
- Help maintain the maintenance facility, equipment areas, and work spaces.
- Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Agronomy leadership.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old by their first day of employment.
- Previous golf course maintenance, landscaping, or equipment operation experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license that meets company safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate golf course equipment and tools safely.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and professional approach when working around team members and guests.
- Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Operate vehicles and equipment for extended periods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Communicate effectively with leaders and team members.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and visually monitor work areas.
