Location: Franksville

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Quality Engineer / Quality Technician to support and maintain our Quality Management System and ensure product and process compliance. This role is responsible for developing and submitting PPAP documentation, performing inspection activities, supporting ISO 9001 compliance, and leading customer-facing quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, organized, and experienced in problem-solving and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality requirements are met, nonconformances are resolved, and corrective actions are effective and sustainable. The shift length is typically Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PPAP workbook creation and submission
  • Develop and maintain full PPAP packages (Levels 1–5)
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and suppliers to gather required documentation
  • Inspection activities
  • Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools
  • Document nonconformances and support root‑cause analysis
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management System maintenance
  • Maintain procedures, work instructions, forms, and records
  • Lead internal audits and corrective actions
  • Support management review and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Customer quality audits (in‑house)
  • Prepare audit materials and host customer auditors
  • Demonstrate compliance with QMS, process controls, and documentation
  • Communicate findings and corrective actions to customers
  • Track and verify effectiveness of implemented actions
