ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create bubbled prints and FAIR Forms
- Determine Inspection Methods to be used to measure parts
- Create Vertex Programs if needed
- Perform First Article Inspections Annual Layouts
- Construct / obtain gages and fixtures
- Perform process capability studies
- Perform gage R & R studies
- Help aid in the creation of FMEA, control plan, and flow charts
- Create limit / workmanship standards
- Employee training of inspection methods
- Create work instructions for difficult measurements
- Recommend needed inspection guide changes
- Review current inspection methods and process capabilities
- Be available for gage calibration back-up
- Perform annual layouts and gage R & R studies if required
- Maintain SPC software / data

- Participate in-group and individual training.

Perform other duties as required or directed by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of blueprint reading and prior CMM layout experience a plus.
