Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

Plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.

• Responsible for coordinating and implementing the quality activities as directed by the Quality Manager for the ISO/TS Quality Management System.
• Responsible for responding to quality issues within the manufacturing plant.
• Perform ISO/TS internal auditing as required by the Quality Manager.
• Responsible for continued compliance of documentation in the ISO/TS quality system.
• Responsible for training inspectors to the quality standards.
• Responsible for leading the implementation of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Act as a member of the Environmental Quality Council (EQC) as it pertains to the Quality functions

• Set up the MRB meeting for review of all discrepant material which include Material Review Board Activities and Feasibility Review to meet Customer Specific Requirements as needed.
• Work with partnering with other manufacturing and engineering departments to implement quality improvement projects.
• Responsible for the generating reports as required.
• Provide quality data as required by the QA Manager.
• Maintain daily data and action reports based upon SPC Datalzer Software.
• Assist with quality projects and assignments as required by the QA Manager.
• Responsible for inventory in the non-conforming warehouse to include RMA's, vendor returns, non-conforming product, etc.

• Work with customers on quality related issues and close corrective actions.
