We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team in Sturtevant, WI. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $22.50 and operates on a rotating 7am-7pm schedule.
Core Responsibilities- Perform essential quality inspections and hands-on support within our packaging facility
- Guarantee that all finished goods align with client requirements and adhere to established GMP protocols
- Evaluate quality metrics to identify and resolve the underlying causes of production defects
- Contribute to the success of safety programs and ongoing process enhancement projects
- Uphold rigorous quality control standards while assisting with internal and external audit processes
- Demonstrated background in manufacturing quality assurance, specifically with blow mold, extrusion, injection, or stretch processes
- Solid grasp of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001, 6-Sigma, TQM, and EHS guidelines
- Demonstrated capacity to utilize statistical data for effective problem-solving
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Working knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Expertise in driving process improvements and quality assurance initiatives
- Comprehensive knowledge of root cause analysis and quality control methodologies
- Practical experience with COA management and GMP compliance
- Background in participating in various types of quality audits
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing a rotating 7am-7pm schedule and multiple tasks
