WE ARE HIRING PHD STUDENT  INNOCAPS Project :
Coacervation as a sustainable encapsulation strategy: understanding multiscale actives-formulas-skin interactions MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT At the URCOM laboratory (Unieversité Le Havre Normandie), we propose the INNOCAPS PhD project, focused on the understanding of coacervate-based encapsulation systems for cosmetic applications. The project aims to investigate how these systems interact with formulation components and behave in complex environments such as emulsions and on human skin.

Particular attention will be paid to the factors governing their structure, stability and release properties under conditions relevant to cosmetic use. By combining fundamental and application-oriented approaches, this work will contribute to a better understanding of encapsulation systems and support the development of more efficient and sustainable formulations. WHO DO WE LOOK FOR? A Master’s degree (MSc) or Engineering degree in physical chemistry, formulation science, colloid science, or cosmetic/pharmaceutical sciences Strong background in soft matter, colloids, formulation

Experience with analytical and physicochemical characterization techniques (rheology, DLS, spectroscopy, HPLC) is highly desirable Interest or experience in skin-related studies and transdermal delivery systems Good understanding of experimental design & data analysis Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment Strong communication skills in English (written and oral)
