Line Cook - Seasonal

The Osthoff Resort & Spa is seeking seasonal line cooks to join our Food & Beverage team for the summer of 2026! Our peak season runs from approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day, so this is a perfect opportunity for high school students (16+), college students, teachers on summer break, or anyone else looking for some extra cash!

We have multiple outlets across the resort including Otto's Restaurant, Concourse Restaurant, and the Lake Deck Concessions Stand. Line cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to our restaurant's recipes with high quality and consistency.

Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required for this position.

• Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented to the standards set for The Osthoff Resort
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant standard menus, specials, and 86 items
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Maintain a harmonious work environment
• Practice clear and effective communication with all kitchen and restaurant team members
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
• Continuously practice safe food handling techniques
• Demonstrate working knowledge of dietary needs and its importance to safe food handling
• All other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must have some culinary experience
• Knowledge of culinary terms and techniques
• Strong communication and organizational skills are strongly desired
• A positive attitude is a must
• Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Experience setting up cooking lines, stocking, and organizing workstations a plus
• Must have or willing to obtain a Serv Safe certificate
