Job Overview

Alpha Baking Company, Inc. is hiring a route salesman/driver at the Appleton, Wisconsin depot. Candidates must possess an excellent driving record, a valid DOT certification, and the ability to start work in very early morning hours. Prior sales experience is helpful. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs., delivering and merchandising products at retail customer accounts, ordering, collections, and route inventory management.

• Deliver and merchandise products to retail customer accounts in a timely manner.
• Order and deliver products to retail customer accounts.
• Perform customer service, collections, and maintain route inventory.
• Work independently, managing time and productivity.

• Prior route delivery and sales experience is helpful.
• Excellent driving record and valid DOT certification.
• Ability to start work very early in the morning and work Saturdays.
• Strong ability to lift 50 lbs. and use a dolly.
• Capacity to work and drive in all weather conditions.
• Successfully complete background screening, post‑offer DOT physical, and drug/alcohol screening.
