Overview

Westby Ace Hardware is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role provides excellent customer service, supports daily store operations, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment. We are looking for a team member with the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and product assistance
• Operate cash register, process transactions, and handle customer inquiries
• Stock merchandise, maintain displays, and keep shelves organized
• Assist with inventory, receiving, product assembly and general store upkeep
• Help customers locate products and make recommendations based on their needs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and rotating weekends and holidays
• Basic computer and cash handling skills
• Retail or hardware experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to obtain forklift and propane cylinder filling certification (on-site training)
