Position Overview

Mobile Generation, a fast-growing Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer in the Midwest, is looking for a Wireless Assistant Store Manager to work directly with the Store Manager ensuring the sales team is well versed in the selling process, products and services, and operational standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer- and goal-oriented environment.
  • Assist the Store Manager to hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
  • Meet or exceed both personal and team key performance indicators each month.
  • Coach and mentor the team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure the assigned location operates under the guidelines of Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
  • Assist in promotional roles, inventory procedures, and other duties as assigned.
  • Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business.
  • Proof of achievement in prior sales roles.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.
  • Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
  • Ability to travel to various Midwest locations as business dictates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
