Retail Sales Associate​/Keyholder

Overview

In your role at Cube Smart Self-Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain stores within your district. This includes skills in both customer service and property maintenance.

The Store Operations Associate is responsible for two key areas:
Customer Service and Property Maintenance.

• Develop customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing solutions.
• Interact face to face with customers with excellent service and rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks, including lock checks and showing units.
• Rent self-storage units, sell store merchandise, manage leasing process, accept payments via POS, complete bank deposits, and handle late payment courtesy calls.

• Daily walks of the property; cleaning units, store grounds; opening/closing doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintain facility: mop, sweep, change light bulbs, clean storage units, and similar activities.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment meeting company guidelines (clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, tidy doors, clear office space).

Locations may require Sunday hours.

• Positive and outgoing personality with passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder frequently.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
