Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Dollar General, in partnership with OpenAI's innovative culture, is seeking a Store Manager in Saint Germain, WI to lead a tech-enabled retail environment. You will own daily operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer experiences while using data and digital tools to optimize inventory, staffing, and merchandising. You'll recruit, coach, and develop your team, ensure accurate cash handling and policy compliance, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming store.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to meet sales, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals
• Supervise, coach, and schedule staff to ensure coverage and high performance
• Monitor inventory, merchandising, and pricing; coordinate with corporate systems and tools
• Analyze sales and operational data to optimize performance and improve processes
• Ensure cash handling accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment for customers and employees
• Use technology platforms for reporting, task management, and workforce coordination
• Recruit, onboard, and train team members on systems, procedures, and customer service
• Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and data-informed decisions
• Collaborate with regional leadership on initiatives, pilots, and continuous improvement projects
