Part Time Meat Cutter

Position Overview

The Meat Cutter handles meat and meat products, including receiving, processing, cutting, trimming, packaging, weighing, pricing, and labeling. They provide attentive and courteous customer service and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.

• Process, prepare, and package meat products following company policies and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper temperatures in storage areas.
• Ensure adequate meat supplies and proper product rotation.
• Support sales targets by promoting friendly customer interactions.
• Minimize shrinkage through proper handling and storage.
• Assist other store locations as needed.

• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and operate relevant equipment such as knives, scales, slicers, and machinery.
• Physical ability for lifting, standing, reaching, and working in temperatures down to 30°F.
• Experience with meat preparation in retail environments is preferred.
