As an Automotive Service Advisor, also called a Service Writer, you’ll own the guest experience throughout vehicle maintenance and repairs. You’ll help guests understand their options, confidently ask for their business, and earn their next visit.

• Welcome guests, listen carefully, and accurately document vehicle concerns.
• Review service history and technician findings to recommend needed maintenance and repairs.
• Explain estimates, priorities, and value; address objections honestly and obtain guest authorization.
• Coordinate with technicians and the parts team, keeping guests informed about progress, timing, and changes.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, explain completed work and charges, and follow up on outstanding needs.

• Do the right thing, always. Recommend work based on actual needs. Explain what is urgent and what can wait. Respect the guest’s decisions and obtain approval before additional work.
• Honor commitments. Be ready to serve at 7:00 AM. Keep your promises, provide updates proactively, and finish what you start.
• Be relentless about improvement. Welcome feedback, learn our processes, and apply your training.
• Deliver results. Take initiative, own mistakes, support your teammates, and stay engaged throughout a busy day.

You’ll be accountable for service sales, guest satisfaction, accurate documentation, and dependable follow-through. This role requires consistent early starts, active selling, and personal responsibility.

Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and comfort learning software are essential. You should enjoy sales conversations, handle competing priorities calmly, and be able to share examples of taking ownership and achieving results.

Automotive knowledge is preferred; we can train the right person.
