• Outbound calling/selling to new and existing customers.
• Handle customer calls for electric motors, controls, drives, and accessories.
• Review technical specifications and quote accordingly.
• Assist customers with technical questions on the products L&S represents.
• Attend training courses both online and possible in person.
• Coordinate large projects to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Checks stock and enter orders into the system.
• Contact suppliers regarding price and delivery times.
• Quote customers – both verbal and formal quotes.
• Occasionally call on customers with outside sales representatives, dependent on location.
• Follow up with customers and suppliers on quotations and orders.
• Expedite orders with suppliers.
• Maintain daily CRM system.
• Enter direct purchase orders with suppliers.
• Manage freight expenses on a per order basis.
• Review and recommend inventory levels based on customer needs.
• Work in both customer portals and vendor portals.
• Attend internal and external training.
• Assist customers with damaged product, fill out RMA paperwork and credit information.

• Minimum of 5 years inside sales experience.
• Familiar with electric motors, drives, and controls.
• Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience and aptitude.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in distribution.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to make outbound sales calls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of and able to use proper phone etiquette.
• Above average communication skills (oral, written).
• Computer literate; above average keyboard skills.
• Able to interact with people in a professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Fluent in English (verbal, written).
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekday and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
• This is an in office position located in Schofield, Wisconsin.
