The Security Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff of Amery Hospital & Clinic. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols, emergency response, public assistance, report writing, investigative services and other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Security Operations.
- Patrol all areas of the hospital (internal and external) and any off‑site properties owned and/or operated by Amery Hospital & Clinic on a daily basis as requested.
- Respond to the emergency needs of the organization and its occupants when necessary.
- Respond to routing requests of all departments of Amery Hospital & Clinic.
- Report and investigate all incidents.
- Keep accurate documentation of all events during a scheduled shift.
- Responsible for quick registration for patients entering the emergency department.
Night Shift (11p-7a)
28 hrs weekly /.7 FTE
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent
Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge
Preferred Qualifications- Post high school education in the field of law enforcement
- One year experience in customer service
- Experience in working security, Law Enforcement, Military or mental health
