Location: Arcadia
Ashley Furniture is seeking a skilled Licensed Facility Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems throughout our facilities. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Repair
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout the facility
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
* Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
* Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions
Safety & Compliance
* Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
* Maintain safe working conditions and follow OSHA safety standards
* Conduct regular safety inspections of electrical systems
* Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed
Technical Operations
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
* Install and maintain lighting systems, motors, transformers, and control systems
* Work with 480V three-phase power systems and motor controls
* Coordinate with maintenance team and contractors on electrical projects
Qualifications
Required
* Valid electrical license (Journeyman or Master Electrician)
* Minimum 3-5 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience
* Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
* Experience with 480V three-phase systems
Preferred
* Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
* Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems
* OSHA safety certification
* Experience with energy management systems
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts
* Ability to work in various environmental conditions
Work Schedule
* Full-time position with potential for overtime and on-call rotation
* Flexibility for emergency response situations
