Job Title: Maintenance Technician, Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm, $25/hr
Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems on all production equipment, as well as assisting with the maintenance of the building and facility systems. This includes servicing and maintaining the chilled water system, compressed air system, and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities- Service and maintain the chilled water system, compressed air system, and HVAC equipment
- Determine the need for repairs to machinery and equipment, requisition needed parts, and plan for and complete the needed repairs
- Lubricate machines and equipment as needed
- Assist with the installation of new machines
- Maintain building and surrounding grounds
- Use proper safety devices, such as lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain a constant alert for hazardous conditions and correct them or bring them to the attention of the department lead person
- Maintain compliance with ISO and all other documented procedures
- Follow building and machine preventative maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with all levels of the company; support facility housekeeping initiatives
- Offer suggestions for improving efficiency and reducing costs within the maintenance department
- Assist with the training and mentoring of junior maintenance staff or new hires
- High School or vocational school graduate
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in general plant and machine maintenance
- Basic PLC/Ladder Logic troubleshooting experience
- Proficient with electrical distribution and control systems
- Proficient with pneumatics and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Basic machine shop and mechanical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate through an interpreter if English reading and writing is not present
- Ability to complete written forms and read basic written instructions
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and precise hand movements
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more, lift 50 lbs or more, and work in hot and noisy environments
- Must have 20/30 vision or better, or have corrective glasses
- Must wear required personal protective equipment
