Plant Services Technician

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Plant Services Technician to support the Plant Services Department. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, as well as specialized tasks such as painting, wood finish repairs, drywall repairs, and branding updates. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for staff and patients with a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

• Basic construction such as framing, hanging drywall, finishing, wood working, wood finishing, dropped ceiling construction, commercial flooring, and wall paper / painting.
• General maintenance of the facility’s systems such as Plumbing, HVAC, and other associated systems as needed.
• Maintain attention to detail and adherence to safety and infection control protocols, particularly in patient areas.
• Support preventative maintenance and perform specialized tasks as assigned.

• Hours:
  
  Monday–Friday from 7a–3:30p, with an on-call rotation every 4–5 weeks.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction or building maintenance, with experience in drywall, commercial flooring, wall repairs, and basic maintenance repairs.
• A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and excellent attention to detail.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility with working hours, including weekends or after-hours work, may be required.
• A valid driver’s license and background check are necessary.
