Electrical Tech, 1st Shift

Location: Fall River

Monday through Thursday, 10 hour days! $3,000 Sign on Bonus!

EK is looking for a quick-learning and motivated person to join our Electrical Team. Our team of Electrical Techs assist our Licensed Electricians in building advanced LARGE power system enclosures. We're looking for a motivated Electrical Tech who is ready to jump in with a great group of people and push our Power Products division to the next level.

What you'll be responsible for:

* Performs a wide variety of electrical installation work on electrical systems and equipment

* Installs complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes as directed by electricians

* Installs switches and controls, central and subsidiary control panels, electronic devices, and other gear incidental to the installation.

* Follows electrical drawings and work instructions.

* Uses all required electrical measuring and testing devices.

* Complies with prescribed safety regulations.

* Works from a general assignment and completes project with direction from electricians.

* Assembles functional parts of enclosures using hand tools, levels, and straight edges.

* Assembles, installs and/or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components and equipment.

* Uses tools ranging from common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.

* Completes tasks in a timely manner.

* Cleans and organizes work area.
