Hours

Typical Day as a Maintenance Technician- Provide high-quality customer service for our residents.
- Diagnose and perform minor repairs and routine maintenance as directed, involving but not limited to:
- Electrical, air conditioning, and heating systems.
- Plumbing to include water lines, boilers, gas and electric.
- Water irrigation systems.
- Gas fixtures and/or appliances where applicable.
- Patios, stairs, railing, and gates.
- Interior and exterior lighting, fireplaces and ceiling fans.
- Interior and exterior doors, shutters, cabinets, windows, and sliding glass doors.
- Door locks and security systems where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests, make‑ready status, and work‑in‑progress status.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies.
- Perform any other tasks as deemed necessary by management.
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting/drywall, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- The ability to work fluidly in both a team environment and by oneself.
- Positive attitude and a passion for building relationships with both residents and team members.
- Faces problems head‑on and utilizes various resources to find a solution.
- Skills from the following industries transition well to this role: industrial mechanics, home improvement, engineering, trade apprentices, and carpentry.
