Finish carpenters at AMCSI are commonly responsible for construction in the residential and commercial arenas and work on the installation of many interior features and structures.

Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret blueprints and plans

* Measure, cut, and shape lumber into multiple structural components

* Verify final work meets original specifications and is in compliance with building codes and regulations

* Install cabinets, countertops, doors and hardware, and millwork

* Maintain a clean, organized job site and dispose of waste material properly

* Troubleshoot any problems and make repairs or adjustments where needed

Required Skills:

* Proficiency in reading blueprints

* Ability to measure, cut and shape wood

* Critical thinking

* Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments

Qualifications:

* Sense of hustle

* Willingness to learn

Education Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED
