** Opportunity*
* Under the direction of a Chef III-Whistling Straits, operate any equipment and perform any tasks assigned within the scope of the department responsibilities as it relates to gardening.

** SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES*
* + Tend a newly developed fruit, vegetable and herb garden that will produce food items to be served to guests within hours of harvest

+ Soil preparation, planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting

+ Operate small, medium and large sized equipment as directed to accomplish job assignments

+ Observe all written standard operating procedures to provide a safe working environment for self, other associates, guests and the general public.

+ Assist in special projects when assigned.

+ Perform any other work assigned by Whistling Straits Culinary or WS Landscape Services.

This is a seasonal, part-time position with shifts varying between 5:00 am and 8:00 pm.

** Skills/Requirements*
* + High School education preferred

+ Basic knowledge of plants and their care preferred

+ Ability to operate and maintain basic gardening equipment

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

* _The hourly range for this position is $14.85 - $22.25. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location._
