Maintenance Technician
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, physical structures, and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, PLCs, and production machines.
Responsibilities- Visually inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards and locate or prevent causes of malfunctions.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair machines.
- Work with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Replace and lubricate gear boxes, motors, bearings, and shafts.
- Start machines and test operation after repair.
- Replace and repair water filtering systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Install and maintain production machines, overhead conveyor systems, and welding equipment.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- 2-year degree in electro-mechanical program or industrial maintenance.
- Mechanical skills.
- Preventive maintenance skills.
- Electrical skills.
- Leadership qualities and independent thinking.
- Troubleshooting capabilities.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and industrial systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Robotics experience is a plus, especially for robotic welding machines.
- Electrical experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Leadership experience is preferred, especially for the second shift due to a smaller team.
After 90 calendar days, employees can join the union, and benefits will commence on the first of the month following 60 days from their permanent hire date. Uniforms are provided and laundered weekly, ensuring convenience and professionalism.
Work EnvironmentThe position requires working in an industrial setting with shifts available for both 1st (6am-2pm) and 2nd (2pm-10pm) shifts from Monday to Friday. The work involves a blend of hands-on tasks with older equipment on the south side of the plant and fully automated systems on the north side. The environment is dynamic, with overhead tracks constantly moving throughout the north side of the plant.

This is a Permanent position based out of Clintonville, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
