Shift: Day shift (4 days on, 4 days off) – 6:30 AM – 6:48 PM

We are looking for an Industrial Electrician for our Cast Iron Division. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.

• Perform all required electrical and electronic maintenance and repair services to plant equipment, in conformance with established codes, specifications and safety practices, in accordance with specified guidelines and instructions, while exercising safety for oneself and others.
• Repair all electrical equipment within assigned department responsibility.
• Repair and replace a variety of electric motors.
• Perform all required preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on specified machinery and equipment.
• Understand and work from ladder diagrams, electronic schematics and engineering drawings.
• Understand and repair PLC, CNC, and robotic equipment and controls.
• Build and install control panels.
• Proficiently operate a wide variety of tools and equipment.
• Able to read, interpret and use blueprints, drawings, sketches, and measurements.
• Be capable of using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create work notifications, look up and order parts, print work orders, and enter time confirmations.
• Practice and follow all required safety regulations.

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Associate degree in Industrial Electrical or Electro-Mechanical; completed Electrical apprenticeship; or equivalent or must be enrolled in accredited program working toward the degree.
• Must possess (or be able to obtain) and maintain a State of Wisconsin Electrical License / Certification (Journeyman or Master).
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Kohler Company’s MVR Guidelines and maintain good standing.
• Must receive a passing score on the Electrician technical test.
• Must be capable of operating a forklift, lifting, and pushing weights up to 40 pounds or more.
• Must provide own tools.
