Asplundh - - Responsibilities:
Trim and remove trees using ladders, safety belt, climbing line, powered trimmer lift truck, or ground methods;
Cut branches and trunk sections and drop or lower them to the ground; use wedges, sledges, and chain saws;
Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, debris, and feed brush into a wood chipper;
Repair slight damage to lawns, fences, and walks caused by tree trimming; maintain equipment and assist training of new employees;
Relays hand-signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment; set up barriers and protect employees/public; train others
