Electro-Mechanical Service Technician

Green Bay Packaging is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Service Technician to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll install, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical production equipment, including motors, drives, conveyors, and packaging systems. You'll perform preventive maintenance, interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime. Working on-site in a safety-focused, people-first culture, you'll collaborate closely with production teams, document work in maintenance systems, and help implement continuous improvement across our sustainable packaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical production and packaging equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics and test equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, prioritize repairs, and communicate status to production teams
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and findings in the maintenance management system
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and operators to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Assist in root-cause analysis of recurring failures and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
