Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrical Maintenance
CNH Industrial is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support our Manufacturing operations within the Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team. In this role, you will lead complex troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of advanced production and material-handling equipment to maximize uptime, safety, and product quality. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; execute preventive and predictive maintenance; and recommend reliability improvements.
Collaborating with engineers and operations, you'll support continuous improvement, coach junior technicians, and help implement sustainable, innovative maintenance solutions aligned with CNH Industrial's safety and sustainability culture.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment
- Lead and perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
- Diagnose root causes of chronic equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering and operations on equipment upgrades and process improvements
- Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history in a CMMSSupport installation, commissioning, and optimization of new machinery and automation
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE use
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior maintenance technicians
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to resolve issues
- Identify and recommend reliability and sustainability improvements to equipment and processes
Required Skills
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting (480
- V, controls)
- Mechanical systems repair (conveyors, gearboxes, bearings)
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) troubleshooting
- Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) setup and diagnostics
- Preventive and predictive maintenance planning
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) use
- Reading electrical and mechanical schematics
- Root cause analysis and reliability improvement
- Industrial safety practices and Lockout/Tagout
